Oprah-Obama Backlash

How ironic that in a politically correct world that demands gender and color-blindness, this election has highlighted the blatant hypocrisy on the Left.

Here's yet another example, as Oprah's supporters are mad that she picked color over gender. Not that there were any other characteristics to consider, right?

Is this a playground or a presidential election??? I thought that our biggest concerns would be the character, the public record and the principles and policies by which a candidate would govern since we're electing the PRESIDENT of the United States. Silly me.

This is the result of the Dummycrats practicing affirmative action even with their Presidential candidates. Neither hitlery rotten clinton nor barak HUSSEIN obama come remotely close to being the best Democrats that could have been chosen. Clearly, they were chosen on the basis of their gender and skin color. And now, they are beginning to suffer the consequences for making such a bold yet foolish decision.

See, this is partly what is so frustrating about these elections. It is just so obvious that all five major Republican candidates are far superior to either hillary or obama, and yet the Republicans are doing everything possible to lose these elections.

If I were just a little bit more paranoid, I would even suspect that there is some kind of conspiracy among the Republicans, to make sure that a Democrat becomes our next President.

That's funny, Raymond. I may not be excited about this particular batch of candidates. However, it's true that any one of the top tier GOP candidates would do a better job of protecting our national interests than either Clinton or Obama.

Just a reminder that one year from today, January 20th, 2009, Rudy Guiliani will be taking the oath of office for the President of the United States.

Lores Rizkalla has definitely made my day by not only reading my comments, but responding to them. Now I will have a smile on my face the entire day today! :-)

On a more sober note, it does bother me the way the right-wing talk radio shows have seemingly conspired together to slam John McCain over and over again. There are things about McCain that bother even a neo-conservative like me, such as his bizarre opposition to waterboarding for islamofascist prisoners, or his opposition to drilling for oil in Anwar.

Nevertheless, we Republicans really do need to never lose focus on the most dominant issue of our times, that of the threat of islamofascist terror. Those monsters have already taken over major portions of England and France; must we wait until they take over Los Angeles and New York before we wake up?

As I have said before, all of the other issues combined, are completely irrelevant if we lose all that what makes our country great. Anybody who truly realizes what is at stake here, must support either Rudy Giuliani or John McCain.

If the economy were the central issue of our times, then I might be tempted to support Mitt Romney. If these were quiet, sane times when our country can deepen its evangelical/fundamentalist Christianity that is so central to this country, then my vote would be with Mike Huckabee.

But we are not living in hypothetical times. We are living in a time when savages from the fifth century want to come here and chop off all of our heads. We need a strong leader like Rudy or McCain to stem this tide, or our country is doomed.

Two more comments here. This time I really will be brief.

One is, I do want to make it clear that no matter who the Republican nominee is, I will still vote for him for President. I hope all other Republicans feel the same way. To stay home in protest, is to make it that much easier for hitlery rotten clinton to become our next President.

Second, in reference to what Mitch Williams said above, all I can say is, from your mouth to G-d's ears! I hope and pray that Rudy has not made the biggest political mistake of his life by his unwillingness to campaign in any of the primaries and caucuses up to now.
