Don't Count Gore Out

His name continues to be tossed about, especially as the Democratic nominations remains up in the air. If this actually plays out, I'm going to have to pull out my old predictions about Al Gore taking the nomination. I still believe that if he decided to jump in this race, there would be NO RACE at all. He is worshipped by young and old for his 'Global Warming' warnings. He now has a peace prize. He would take the White House, hands down....if he wants it.

I agree with Lores here. Ironically, just this morning I was thinking about this very subject, and now I see that Lores is talking about it as well. Would she feel revolted to know that perhaps she and I think alike? I like to flatter myself in thinking that I share at least some things in common with that perfect woman!

But yes, it is just so obvious that Al Bore would be the overwhelming favorite to become our next President. All he would have to do is throw his hat in the ring, and he would be coronated.

In fact, being that politics is always about voting for the lesser of two evils, I have to admit that I would definitely prefer him over hitlery rotten clinton or barack hussein osama obama.

As to why Al Bore has not yet done so, I can come up with a simple answer: he is making too much money to do so. Why should he give up making millions of dollars, in favor of making the lesser salary of the President? Yes there is prestige in being President, but then, his Nobel Prize may be giving him all the prestige that he craves.

Also, consider the fact that Al Bore is also grossly overweight. As somebody who is far too overweight myself, I know that such people are simply not respected or taken as seriously as their more athletic colleagues.

If Al Bore trims down to the way he used to look, I will take that as a sign that he would accept the nomination if chosen.
